This page is maintained by Banetry LLC to answer common security and privacy questions about banetry.com and our apps. It describes the controls we have in place today. It is not a certification, audit report, or independent verification of any kind.
1. Shared responsibility
- Our platform providers operate the hosting, network, and database infrastructure, including physical security and patching of the underlying platform.
- Banetry LLC is responsible for our application code, configuration, access control, and how we handle data we receive.
- You are responsible for keeping your own device, browser, and app-store account secure.
2. Website security
- The Site is served exclusively over HTTPS/TLS; requests to HTTP are redirected.
- The Site is a static, read-only marketing and policy site. It has no user accounts, no login, no payment forms, and no user-submitted data entry.
- We keep dependencies updated and review reported vulnerabilities in packages we ship.
3. Data handling
- We collect only what is described in the Website Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy.
- We do not process payment-card data anywhere. All app purchases are billed by Apple through the App Store.
- Access to systems that hold any personal information is limited to the people who need it, protected by strong authentication.
- Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Data at rest with our infrastructure providers is encrypted using their platform encryption.
4. App security (Guac)
- Purchases and subscription status are handled by Apple and our subscription-management provider; we never receive card numbers.
- Sign-in, where offered, uses Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google — we never see or store your provider password.
- Details of what the app collects are in the Privacy Policy and AI & Assessment Disclaimer.
5. Reporting a vulnerability
If you believe you have found a security issue, please email help@banetry.com with:
- a description of the issue,
- the steps or request needed to reproduce it, and
- any impact you observed.
Please give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before public disclosure, and avoid privacy violations, service degradation, or data destruction while testing. We appreciate good-faith reports and will acknowledge them.
6. Incident contact
For any suspected security or privacy incident involving Banetry, contact help@banetry.com. We will investigate promptly and notify affected people and regulators where the law requires it.
7. What we do not claim
We do not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or GDPR "certification," and we do not claim our systems are free of vulnerabilities. Any such statement will only appear here if and when we can support it.
